When my father died mid-launch in May of 2024, I ran my first program call from the Airbnb I had rented to go and settle his affairs. I was, obviously, grieving.Ā

Managing logistics around a death is basically a full time job. (Nevermind the emotional component, which is a story for a different day). This put my systems to the test in a way I could not have expected.Ā

I have been in business for almost nine years -Ā the systems I set up are truly the only reason I could have reasonably handled that experience.

I was amazed when at the yearās end, my business had made the same amount of money that it had made in 2023. Even when I was going through the most difficult experience of grief I have faced in my life.
